Until I Forget About You Chapter 22 – Story

Chapter 22

Chloe?s POV
The room was set up in tables with 4 seats at each and every. All the seats had been taken, except for two in the back table. We walked more than and sat down. A girl with blonde hair in a pony tail and glasses was sitting there having a smile on her face. Next to her was a some what nerdy looking boy, with neatly parted hair along with a button up yellow shirt. “Hello. I?m Ned. And this really is my girlfriend Helen.”

“I?m Cassie.”
“And I?m Taylor.”
“Are you guys together?” Helen asked, having a small smile.
I turned towards him and winked so they couldn?t see. “Yeah. We?re engaged.” “You are? Oh goodness… but aren?t you only like 16?” Ned questioned, his eyebrows raised. Helen was giving us a, well-aren?t-they-weird sort of appear.

“Yeah. I?m 16…” I nodded.
“So am I.”
“So exactly where?s the ring?” Helen asked, skeptically.
“I haven?t gotten it yet. We?re still deciding which one will appear best on my hand.” I said. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Taylor trying not to laugh.
“Oh. Obviously.” Helen smiled. Mr. Whitney walked in and began writing equations on the board,

“Alright class. Right now we?re going to be talking about distinct kinds of equations. Now, who thinks they are able to answer one of these.” Instantly Ned and Helen raised their hands. “Alright you two, come up and try it.”
They walked up and right after some minutes stepped away from the board, with two of the equations finished. Mr. Whitney nodded. “Good job you two. Any one else need to try?”

They walked back to their seats. “No one else will probably be able to do it.” Ned said. Helen nodded. I raised my hand and walked as much as the board.
“I wish to try.” I grabbed a marker and read one of the issues. I had to be able to figure it out… It couldn?t be too hard. I looked at what Ned and Helen had accomplished very first, and did the same thing, but utilized the numbers from my dilemma. Employing those equations for examples helped me determine the one I was doing and when I backed away from the board, Mr. Whitney smiled. “Good job.”

I walked back to my seat and smiled at Ned and Helen. “No one else could do it?” I knew I was being a bit mean, but I felt like they deserved it.
“Well… we meant no one else that we knew. You two are new, so we didn?t know you.” Helen gave us a little smile as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “And, it?s not like those equation troubles are even all that challenging.”
“Alright, I?m passing out these packets of equations and I want them all finished by the finish of class.”

“Wait, did he already teach how to do it?” Taylor asked glancing up at the board. The other equations had been done and there were tiny notes on the side of the board explaining it.
“I guess he did. Well, it?s not too tough. I can help you.” I stated as the teacher put 4 packets on our table. I took one, as did everyone else.
“Are you genuinely a couple?” Helen asked as she took a pencil out of a small pink case. “I mean, you just don?t appear like you might be.”

I chuckled. “We?re not. I just believed it could be enjoyable to attempt and trick you.”
“Oh…” Ned looked sort of upset and he bent his head down and began the packet.
“You believed that was a great practical joke? We’re not amused.” Helen sighed, looking at disdainfully. I laughed.

“Wooow.” I dragged out the o sound. “Well, I?m going to finish this packet.” I shook my head, rolling my eyes. “Okay Taylor. Let?s figure this out.” I grabbed my pencil and started the first 1. The bell rang some minutes following we finished the last equation and passed within the papers, only to obtain more for homework.

“Get these all carried out by tomorrow.” Mr. Whitney said as we walked out the door.
“Ugh.” I groaned, walking down the hall. “Stupid homework.” I shoved it in my bag.
Science class sped by and it was time for lunch. We had an hour for lunch and we were allowed to go anyplace on campus so long as we got back in time for our subsequent class. Me and Lucy had been going to meet Lana in the Diner. Lana and Lucy stated it was among the ideal places for lunch.

I saw Taylor walking down the hall alone. “I?ll meet you at the diner Lucy. I?m going to see if Taylor wants to come with us. It doesn?t appear like he?s produced any pals but.”
“Mkay. See ya later Cass.” She said, not truly paying attention because she was texting. I laughed to myself as I skipped over to Taylor.
“Hey!” I greeted him having a smile. “Do you would like to go the Diner with me, Lana and Lucy for lunch?”

“Sure. Thanks.” He smiled.
“No problem. It?s this way.” I led him down the hallway and we walked out of the school. Some minutes later, we were walking into the Diner. A little even though later we were sitting down with our plates full of food from the all you’ll be able to eat lunch buffet.
“Lana, this is Taylor, Taylor this is Lana…and you already know Lucy.”
“Hi Taylor.” Lana smiled. “So, you?re naturally new… exactly where did you come from?”
“Florida.” He smiled back at her. “Yeah… I did not have to travel really far to get here. Where are ya?ll from?”

“Maine.” I stated.
“Idaho.” Lana said using a tiny laugh.
“New Hampshire.” Lucy grinned.
He cut the piece of ham he had taken. I stabbed a piece of lettuce from my salad. “So, what?s Florida like?” I asked, eating some of my food.

“Hot. Considerably hotter than it truly is here… It rains a good deal too. It?s nice I guess. There?s numerous bugs and stuff though… and I don?t actually like the reality that there are alligators around but, otherwise it?s good. Um, what are your states like?”
“Maine is cold.” I took a sip of water. “And you’ll find moose.”
Lana laughed. “Idaho… it?s okay… we have great potatoes…” She shrugged when Lucy snickered.

“New Hampshire is wonderful. There?s no tax on clothing and stuff, so every little thing is cheaper along with the shopping is so significantly enjoyable… they have excellent shops and also the most wonderful shoe store-” She stopped when we all looked at her. “What…?” She asked, sounding self-conscious. “It?s true! It?s cold like Maine although.” She added, then quickly started consuming. We laughed and she blushed.

“Have you guys ever been to any other locations?” Lana questioned. “This summer I went to Canada.”
“I?ve been to California and Hawaii.” Lucy grinned.
“Hawaii.” I stated. I went with Lucy and her loved ones that time… and Australia… but I didn?t say Australia. I didn?t need to speak about that.
“And Australia.” Lucy added. “You?ve been to Australia.”

I shot her a look and she grimaced. “Oh, I guess not…. oh yeah… that was our other cousin. Sorry.”
“It?s fine.” I said having a fake laugh. “You constantly did get me and Caroline mixed up.” I made a fake cousin for us.
She laughed. “Yeah.”
“Well… let?s hurry up and eat. We only have a half hour of lunch left.” Lana suggested. We all nodded and began consuming, the silence filled with only the tiny clanking of forks against the plates and also the occasional knife.
