Enlarge ImageHe stepped in front of me. “Go out with me.” he stated, his eyes twinkling. I began to choke on the drool I had pooling in my mouth. Adonis reached over, giving me two light pats on the back.
“Sorry, I?m usually not this forward,” he said. “But I?d be an idiot if I let this chance pass. I?m Wade, by the way.” So Adonis had a name and it was Wade. I could see that. He ran his hand swiftly by way of his hair. I guess he didn?t do this a whole lot. You?d believe he would, seeing how definitely best looking he is. If it was me, which it was back in my hay day, I would have been picking up guys left and correct. Sounds slutty now that I take into consideration it, but I was by no means a slut. Certain, I kissed much more than a couple of boys, and most of the time that?s as far as it went, but there was the occasional Joby, a boy too cute, too me to pass up.
Finally catching my breath I answered him the only way I could. “What?” Hey, what can I say, I?d been out of the game for a year, so it was bound to take me a minute to determine the way to flirt with someone other than Joby.
“No, what I mean is…” I thought a moment. “No, I mean what.” I stated smiling. I guess it was going to take longer than a minute.
Wade chuckled. “Okay, let?s commence more than.”
I nodded. I?m all for new beginnings.
“Hi, I?m Wade. You sat next to me in English.” he stated sticking his hand out.
I took it, gripping my delicate fingers about his strong ones. “Willa, good to meet you.”
“Willa, that?s a pretty name.” Wade stated. “You don?t run into several girls named Willa.”
“Of course not,” I stated. “No typical individual could handle the name Willa.” My flirting bone was kicking in and I was feeling a bit much more confident.
He smiled. “And you?re not average?”
I laughed, softly. You know, the excellent, well, near ideal giggle. “Now do I appear typical to you? That?s an insult to my beauty and personality.”
“Only an above average person admits to getting stunning.” he stated whisking back my hair slightly. I forced a shiver down my spine, trying not to tremble all more than. Mentally I was fanning myself and not for the actual summer blaze, but the flames fluttering off this guy.
I cleared my throat and attempting to keep my lead in the conversation I said, “Good to see you noticed it too.”
He nodded.
“It?s kinda tough to miss.” he said. “Anyway, I know this might appear sudden, but I feel I can sense when a person is feeling me,” Oh, I was undoubtedly feeling him. I mean, come on people, he was practically a Greek god standing prior to me!
“So how about we have dinner sometime?” he asked. Dinner with Wade, the Adonis; it had a nice ring to it, but I didn?t have time for dinner, not with Abram and surely when I was completely in enjoy with someone else (Joby). If only we?d met a year plus a half ago, perhaps then items would be diverse.
I shook my head. “Sorry,” I stated. “I can?t do dinner, but you can walk me to my subsequent class over in the ELA constructing.”
“Sure I can do that. What class do you have subsequent?” he stated, the smile falling a bit from his lips. Type of breaks your heart doesn?t it? I glanced down at my schedule.
“Um? my next class is Math 1200, room 334, Professor Guy.” I stated searching up. Wade had an enormous grin on his face and let me say, I wanted to melt. This smile was nothing like Joby?s cocky, yet always seductive 1, but some thing else altogether! This was the smile of? of? hell I didn?t know what of, I just knew it practically produced me fall to my knees and thank God for putting such a spectacular smile on this earth and in my life.
“You have a actually nice smile, you that.” I said, not truly thinking about the words as they flowed from my mouth. A light flush crowded my cheeks. I mean, how could it not. I just told a guy I had no plans of acquiring to know any greater that he had a nice smile. In fact, what had I been thinking flirting with him? Joby was who I wanted and I would get him, just as soon as I puffed up on sufficient confidence in our relationship prospective and said I wanted to be together.
“Yeah, and I?m realizing I?m really lucky too.” he said.
“Lucky, huh, how?” I asked.
“That math class is my math class.”
“Get the eff out of here! You?re kidding.” I said. But seriously, get the eff out! How did we finish up inside the same class? I then got that feeling I had when inevitability kept pushing Joby and I together. It was fate once again, getting a bitch and operating my life. Sometimes, I wish he?d just let me in on the outcome, saving me a lot of drama. Sheesh!
He shook his head. “Well, isn?t that?” I started.
“Lucky.” he finished with a smile. I didn?t wish to smile back, since having him in two of my classes wasn?t what I would call lucky, but how could I not when his face looked so unbelievably delicious!
Hell, I guess I?m just full of mixed signals nowadays!
“Lead the way.” I stated. We walked out of the constructing and into the summer heat. I reached into my bag, pulling out my sunglasses. I was pressing them to my face when I spotted a particular sight that created my stomach lurch fiercely. I gawked at Joby?s smiling face as he and some thin blond walked in front of Wade and me. Our eyes catch and I swear to goodness we have a slow-motion moment. The smile was slowly wiping from his face, swapping for something much more like shock, embarrassment, guilt, then needless to say much more shock when he sees Wade, which was soon turned into a cocky Joby grin.
Now even though he looked more than Wade I decided to glance over the blond beside him. It never took me a lot more than ten seconds to break down unworthy chicks that stand in my presence, and a minimum of it was one skill I managed to maintain right after having Abram. I scanned the girl. Her face was round, nose tiny like a chipmunk, eyes huge as an effing cat?s, lips slightly thin, but average nonetheless, splattered in pink balm. Her physique was thinner than mine, but absolutely nothing compared to Madison, at the very least this chick looked wholesome. Her hair waved down her head, which meant she took care of it. She smiled and it seemed sweet, but you can never trust a sweet smile.
So, in conclusion, Bimbo Barbie was going to be a issue. Her stance totally oozed I-want-him-so-back-off. If she and Joby hadn?t just met, I?m pretty sure her arm would have been clawing about his. Now I smiled. As if I was going to shed the only guy I’ve ever loved to a girl not even worthy of war.
They moved on and it was like we by no means even crossed paths, like we had by no means exchanged looks, as if our feet had never ever stopped moving, which they hadn?t in those couple of seconds. I turned slightly, watching them enter the constructing I?d left and caught the girl seeking more than her shoulder. She sneered and I smiled, placing the sunglasses on my eyes. Who did that girl believe she was searching at me like that! She?s so clueless, that Joby is already mine, regardless of whether he knows it or not. But I will admit, seeing him laugh with another girl I don?t know, did kind of stir my blood. Since what could a ditsy seeking girl like her say that could possibly be funny?
In the finish, I decided not to think an excessive amount of of the girl, not realizing how huge a problem she was going to be. In other words, the cavalry was calling.
