I’m SO sorry that it took me this lengthy!! There was a whole lot going on and With Thanksgiving I got busy and didn’t have a likelihood to write at all until nowadays. Chapter 13
Jennifer?s POV
I woke up within the middle of the night crying. I was getting yet another dream about Bill. I kept trying to go to sleep, but couldn?t so finally I decided to go downstairs although it was only 2:30 a.m. Just 6 and a half hours until I?d be sitting in a courtroom. I walked into the kitchen and nearly screamed. “Jennifer, what are you currently performing awake?” My dad said startling me. “I had a poor dream, and I couldn?t sleep,” I replied stifling a yawn. “Oh, properly how about some coffee?” he offered and I pulled a cup out of the cabinet.
“I?m so proud of you, kid. You?ve been by means of a hell of a good deal, and you?re nonetheless standing strong and making it on your own. Jay told me about what the guy from the record label said, are you excited? Have you heard anything from him?” “The guy stated he wouldn?t be back in town until subsequent week, and that we?d hear from him sometime following that. I?m genuinely excited, it?s what I?ve often wanted.” I said with excitement. “I know, ever given that you had been little you were a terrific singer, then you picked up the guitar naturally. I just want you to know that if your record takes off, everybody will probably be trying to change you. That?s part of the business, and you?re job is to remain yourself. Just keep in mind Ellie is your first priority, I know you realize that though.” He stated, despite the fact that he knew I would constantly have Ellie in the top of my list. “I know dad.” I replied using a sigh.
After we talked for about an hour when he told me I necessary to get some sleep so I walked back to my room. Underneath the door I could just barely see a small amount light. “I didn?t leave my light on,” I thought and opened the door slowly. A hand wrapped around my waist and mouth so I instinctively began to attempt and fight back but the individual had a firm grip on me so I couldn?t do anything to defend myself. “Shhh Jennifer it?s me.” I heard and immediately recognized the voice and relaxed. When I stopped struggling he let go of me and I turned about so I could hug him. “Jeremy! I?m so glad you?re here.” I whispered. “Really? I felt bad sneaking in, but I tried texting you last night and you by no means replied so I wanted to create positive you were ok.” He sighed and pulled me into a tighter hug. I put my lips to his in response.
Jeremy?s POV
Jennifer kissed me, and I wanted to maintain going but somehow I could tell one thing was wrong so I pulled away. “Wait, why are you nonetheless up?” I asked concerned about her. “Well, I identified out last night that I’ve to go to court within the morning for almost everything with Bill. So I guess that was on my mind when I fell asleep and I had a bad dream about it. Then I couldn?t go back to sleep so I went downstairs and talked to my dad for awhile, now I was coming up here to go to sleep.” She said in in between some yawns. She looked exhausted, her eyelids were slightly lower than they normally were, and her face looked sort of pale, but she nonetheless looked lovely. Her hair was in a messy braid and she was wearing shorts using a baggy shirt. Anybody else possibly would?ve looked trashy but she looked incredible.
I picked her up and carried her to her bed and laid her down, “Well I greater go so you can sleep.” I stated as I began to walk back to her window which was the way I?d come in. “No Please stay,” She begged, “I don?t want to be alone.” I couldn?t resist the appear in her eyes; she had a way of making me do whatever she wanted just by asking. “Ok,” I said and laid down beside her, “I adore you baby, Goodnight.” I whispered just as her eyelids fell shut.
Jay?s POV
I woke up to my annoying alarm sounding off, and it took me three tries at hitting the snooze button just before the sound was lastly eliminated. It was 7:30, and I knew dad would be acquiring up soon so I decided to check on Jennifer, I had heard her talking to Jeremy so I assumed that he?d spent the night. I walked down the hallway to her room and knocked on her door as I opened it. “Hey it?s 7:30, Dad will probably be up here soon so Jeremy needs to leave.” I said just loud sufficient so only men and women in Jennifer?s room would here me. “Jay! You should?ve knocked. You didn?t know what I was doing in here, I could?ve been changing.” Jennifer stated sleepily because she had obviously just woken up. “Jennifer, I knew Jeremy spent the night, and I trust him. So I knew absolutely nothing was going on, anyways calm down if dad would have observed Jeremy here I feel he would?ve been somewhat upset.” I stated as she got out of bed. “I?ll see you later.” I said prior to she hugged me and I left.
The factor with Jennifer and me is that we aren?t like normal brother and sisters. We?ve usually been more like friends, and I?m really protective over her. We don?t truly fight but we joke around like we?re fighting. I know that she would do anything for me, and she knows that I would do anything for her. That?s how it has often been with us.
Jennifer?s POV
After Jay shut my door, I practically screamed simply because Jeremy had come up behind me and hugged me. He must?ve felt me jump since he instantly stated, “I?m sorry, are you ok,” I loved this about him. He was usually so careful, like he was terrified of losing me. I know for positive that I?m scared to death of losing him. “It?s ok. I have to obtain ready though.” I sighed, “So do you want to come to court with me today?” I asked secretly hoping he would come. “Of course. I?ll just go back to my residence and change, and then come back here. What time is court set for?” He asked as he brushed some hair out of my face. I blushed just a little and stated, “They told us to get there at 9.” HE just stared at me for a second prior to he sighed, “Well I?m afraid if I don?t leave now then I?m never going to.” He whispered and kissed my nose just before turning and leaving.
