Chapter 1:
“Natalie! Breakfast is prepared!” Kim yelled just as I finished my make-up. I had decided to wear a pair of black skinny jeans with an electric blue top that Kim and Joe had bough me. I had a pair of white, black, and blue Osiris that matched perfectly. For the initial time in my life I had clothes that I liked, and I was very thankful for that. I looked within the mirror 1 last time, and was frozen by what I saw. This girl looked pale and lifeless, like she hadn?t laughed in forever. Then once more which is who I’m.
“Coming!” I yelled back and grabbed my bag so I could leave for school right after breakfast. This school was really boring to me, because I was repeating my 11th grade year. I walked slowly down the stairs and smelt waffles and syrup as I reached the kitchen. “It smells fantastic.” I said and tried to smile. Kim just smiled in return and handed me a plate with two waffles. “There?s much more in case you want it. Do you’ve got any plans after school?” she then asked as I began to eat. “No, I was just going to come here appropriate following school. Do you need me to do some thing?” I asked politely, but kind of irritated because I could imagine her next words becoming, “Oh properly I need to have you to babysit.” I was surprised when she said, “Well, I was thinking that we could go appear at a new car for you. Since I?m thinking about going back to function, then you could drive the kids to school in the morning. You could also then go out soon after school more, should you wanted to.” Kim said glancing at me and then back at her plate.
I couldn?t think this. I was fully speechless. “Are you certain? I mean, you don?t have to do any of this for me.” I stated still in shock. Nobody has ever genuinely asked me if I wanted something, and no one ever offered to buy me something. “Natalie, You?re part of this family members now. I know that you simply haven?t totally adjusted but, but we?re not giving up on you ever. You are going to usually be apart of this family, a minimum of as long as you want to be. I’ve an interview at 2:30, so I?m not positive if I?ll be able to pick you up at 3:30, but I?ll text you. Could you wait in the library or one thing so I could pick you up just a little bit late?” Kim asked soon after almost making me begin to cry with her caring kind-heart. “Yeah, definitely. I?ll be sure I check my phone appropriate soon after school. Thank you so a lot.” I stated with an actual smile. Possibly this really is where I?m supposed to be.

I walked into my science class and took my seat at the back of the class like I had each day for the last two months. So far the day had been normal and uneventful, until 5 minutes later he walked in with all the principle. “This is Eric, the new student.” The principle stated to the class ahead of walking out. “Hello Eric, I?m Mrs. Cook. It looks like the only empty seat is over there by Natalie, why don?t you go sit down.” The teacher said. Prior to Eric had reached the desk to sit down, I ran out of the room.
I sprinted into the hallway and just barely made it to the trash can just before I threw up. My head was spinning and my heart was racing. How could he be here? Why did he need to be here? I was too caught up in my thoughts that it took me a moment to recognize that somebody was holding my hair back, and had their arm about my waist supporting me as I threw up once more. I turned around and sat on the ground with my back against a wall. The individual sat down subsequent to me in silence.
