A light plane with four people aboard crashed on Thursday in the Dominican Republic, but without fatal casualties.
The Aerocomando 500 plane, coming from Porto Rico, fell down when it was attempting to land in Las Americas International Airport in Punta Caucedo, near Santo Domingo, Communication Manager of Dominican Airports Yolanda Manan said.
A pilot of the plane reported an emergency to the control tower, then the plane lost control and fell down in a forest while trying to land, Manan said.
The two passengers and two pilots aboard the plane, rescued with some minor injuries, were taken to the Ramon Lara Hospital of the Military Forces in San Isidro. Their identities have not been revealed.
The cause of the accident was unknown.
