David Cameron ‘s father died in France

The father of British Prime Minister David Cameron , died Wednesday afternoon in France , shortly after the arrival of Chief Government Hospital Font Pré de Toulon ( Var ) , said Downing Street.

On holiday in the region , Ian Cameron, 77 , had been hospitalized in the morning ” in a serious condition “after a stroke followed by cardiac complications. Cameron had arrived from London, after canceling all his appointments to get to his bedside.

Cameron and his family left the hospital in a convoy of six cars framed by the police . The procession was scheduled to visit Fort of , the residence of the French presidency , it was learned from sources close to the road.

David Cameron would make his opening of Parliament on Wednesday during question time the Prime Minister , after a vacation followed by a paternity leave because of the birth of her fourth child , Florence . He was replaced at short notice in the House of Commons by Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.
